Whether you are a teacher, a parent, or an active member in the community ready to be an agent of change, we are grateful you have clicked on this page! Your participation in the movement to end human trafficking is invaluable, so we want to equip you with the means to turn conviction into action. Our team is dedicated to providing assistance every step of the way, so do not hesitate to let us know how we can help empower you to move forward. Below is a menu of ways you can get involved:
Get the Prevention Project program
The process is simple:
- Reach out to us to express your interest using the contact form provided below; we will provide all information needed for you to get started.
- Next, set up a meeting with the decision-maker in your school or organization (Principal, Head Counselor, Teacher, etc.).
- Once the program is approved, we will provide the teacher portal instructions, provide access to our online portal and the train the trainer video module for instructors to go through or set up a time for the youth service provider training, and assist every step of the way throughout the implementation of the program.
Become a Prevention Project Ambassador
This is a volunteer position in which community members learn how to inform others about human trafficking and advocate for the Prevention Project curriculum to be implemented in new schools and programs to reach a greater number of students. Because this is a sensitive issue and important topic, prospective Ambassadors go through a light screening process before they are provided training on how to present information about the Prevention Project program. Following the training, you will receive resources to present to schools and programs, and we will further connect you to a network of abolitionists involved in the same mission.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact information to learn more and find out about upcoming trainings!
