Whether you are a teacher, a parent, or an active member in the community ready to be an agent of change, we are grateful you have clicked on this page! Your participation in the movement to end human trafficking is invaluable, so we want to equip you with the means to turn conviction into action. Our team is dedicated to providing assistance every step of the way, so do not hesitate to let us know how we can help empower you to move forward. Below is a menu of ways you can get involved:
Get the Prevention Project program
The process is simple:
- Reach out to us to express your interest using the contact form provided below; we will provide all information needed for you to get started.
- Next, set up a meeting with the decision-maker in your school or organization (Principal, Head Counselor, Teacher, etc.).
- Once the program is approved, we will provide a welcome packet, set up a date for teachers to go through the “train the trainer” session, and assist every step of the way throughout the implementation of the program.
Become a Prevention Project Ambassador
This is a way for you to advocate for the Prevention Project curriculum to bringit to the schools and programs that don’t yet have it. An ambassador presents information about the Prevention Project program to get it into more classrooms or programs to reach a greater amount of students.
Provide us with your contact information and we will plan a comprehensive training to give you a detailed overview of the program. Following the training you will have resources to present to the schools, and we will further connect you to a network of abolitionists involved in the same mission.
A great, sustainable way to make a huge difference even if you are unable to give of your time is to donate. There is always a need for donations, and each gift fuels the mission and does not go unnoticed. We are so thankful for the individuals, organizations, and businesses that partner with us – with this support, we are able to invest in students’ lives and reach more students with teen prevention education!
